Newton Shoes Comes up with Guidance Trainers

I get the impression that running shoes from Newton means breakthrough, or a new invention. When they first released their first line of racers and trainers, like the Newton Gravity, it got some brows raising because they look different by adding those lugs at the soles.
Just recently, Newton released a new line of running shoes. The Sir Isaac and the Lady Isaac. They categorized them as Guidance Trainers. What’s the breakthrough with them? They can be worn by any foot types. It features a dual-density universal posting system in the midsole to help stabilize neutral runners, pronators and supinators. A one-shoe-fits-all solution.
How does the Guidance Trainer differ from the Performance Trainer? Here is how Newton shoes differentiate their products.
- Beveled Heel and Toe: helps guide runner easily into the midfoot/forefoot
- Beveled Lugs: smoother, stable feel that is more gradual in the forefoot
- Wider midfoot/forefoot and lugs: adds stability and creates a softer feel
- Midfoot Chassis/Shank: adds support and stability
- Carbon Rubber Outersole: increases durability
- Closed Mesh on Upper: keeps small debris out

This is the Sir Isaac Guidance Trainer. A view from the sides gives you a familiar design from the previous models. The Sir Isaac has a simple structure and very little details in the design. Airmesh have smaller holes. But I would still expect the same comfortable runs like the previous Newton shoes.

Now see the difference in the soles of the Sir Isaac. It uses the second generation actuator lugs which are more durable. This solves the common complain that the sole of Newton shoes wears out too fast.
And for the ladies, this is how Lady Isaac looks like. Just a slight change in the color. I could even wear these shoes in case I prefer a green color.

The Sir Isaac and Lady Isaac sells for 149USD thru their online store. I guess they might peg between 7,000 to 8,000 Php once they will be available locally.
Check out the Newton site for detailed description of their new shoes.

This is good. Now Newtons can be worn even by none forefoot runners and eventually allow them to run properly
A one-size shoe fits all? Hmmm I’m suddenly interested. Are these heavy Natz?
