i2runner.com was lucky enough to qualify for the 2009 Philippine Blog Awards Finalists (this time I didn't injure myself). So I would like to thank the PBA for appreciating this site, it's an honor just to be included in your Finals! However being the only blog about Running in the list, I feel quit

When I started running last Sunday, September 27th, approximately 24hours after the Ketsana (Ondoy) Typhoon struck the whole of Metro Manila, I saw a lot of flood victims on the street still trying to clean their homes. Some of the houses were below street level, so the flood that was once road-leve

PAGASA had no idea the rain was going to be this heavy, as they said they didn't have the "doppler radar" that should be capable of measuring rain volume in advance. So my question is, why do we still have PAGASA--what's their us

One of the best (probably unknown) running route in Metro Manila is the ongoing construction of C6 road in Lower Bicutan, Taguig. It's just 0.5miles from my home so me, my girlfriend and my dad would take a 10minute walk/warm-up to go there.
Map of future C6 road, about 1Mile or 1.6Kms from SM Bic

My 2008 had its ups and downs. From my initial weight of 170lbs, I lost 35lbs. I now weigh 130 to 135lbs, depending on how much I ate and drink at the end of the day. During my first 10K race of the year (Feb17), I weighed 149lbs and clocked 59:27. It wasn't a time I was proud of, but it became the
